Beautiful Ethereal Snow

Harrods always looks so beautiful at Xmas.

Saturday the weather was unbelievable. The snow came down. I am a real baby ,I donned on my boots and we set off to get some pictures.Aren't they pretty? Whilst it all looked stunning the roads were not to be messed with.Cars were sliding over the slippery slooshy roads. We just had two local places to go and it took over six hours for what would normally take one hour max
just because the roads were so bad. I still am always amazed at how much London cant cope with a bit of snow.We talk about snow every year ,we all know way ahead when the snow will fall and still we cant seem to get grit on the roads, and get a few snow ploughs. If Russia can get on with it and they have terrible conditions them why cant we?

  1. Such beautiful photos, I am up in Nottingham and we havent had any snow in the last week, I am sure its on its way!!
    Have a great xmas. xx

  2. Did the same as you, had breakfast watching the snowfall and then went out to take some photos. I love the trees they get a lace like appearance that makes them so beautiful. You will think of London as being a Mediterranean coastal city just by considering how badly prepared we are for snowfalls.
!!Have a Happy White Christmas !!

  3. So lovely and ethereal indeed. The quintessential setting for Xmas time. Have a great holiday :-)

  4. Beautiful photos! I hope you had a very Merry Christmas and wish you all the best in the New Year.

  5. I am happy to award you the Stylish Blogger Award. Please stop by Apples and Pears to collect it :)
