Elephants everywhere

Today was such a lovely day, I met my friend Angela for some lunch. As well as having her lovely company all afternoon she came bearing gifts some beautiful crochet pattern books from Italy. Complete with all the crochet symbols.Thank you so much Angela
I'm probably the last person in London to blog about the elephant parade. Ive envied everyone who has seen them. Finally,I had the perfect opportunity .These two babies are on Regents street.

A little further along Regents Street a gallery has opened where you can buy these beautifully painted mini elephants. It explains what the parade is all about and all the proceeds go to a good cause. For more info see here. Aren't they just the cutest things?? I have to say that whilst inside I felt I'd entered a yarn shop filled with beautiful rare hand painted skeins of yarn.

I'm now happily sitting on the sofa with a rather large Jack on the rocks and a smirk.I've had a lovely day with Angela, we found quite a few interesting Japanese shops filled with interesting foodie bits. Lovely lunch, great company lovely weather what more could a girl want for a Friday? Once again Angela ,thank you for a lovely day.
