My confession

Can you keep a secret ??Its time to come clean. Ive fallen head over heels in love , I cant wait for the evening when I'm clad in my nightie, waiting for the moment we are together, I most tell you before I change my mind, I LOVE CROCHET ..... All over again. sometimes I can be fickle, one minute it's crochet the next it's knitting. But, somehow crochet always comes out on top.
I love the rhythm of it.Remember my play time making a colourful motif.Ive made so many I really don't know what I want to do with them, but I simply can not stop making them. I am powerless once the yarn and hook are together I'm still making my cotton granny square blanket .The stitches dc and tr , flows so smoothly, yarn around hook, in through first tr, yarn around and so it goes on. Its so soothing, almost hypnotic. So portable, easy and so quick.
Its almost as if Ive been asleep but all I seem to be noticing is gorgeous beautiful colour. Popped into a well know cheap chain store colours everywhere .A wall filled with rows of large bags in the most beautiful colours, very juicy reds, green like a well tended lawn, sunflower yellows, a gorgeous smorgasbord of bold colours. So ,you have been warned ,you might want to wear sunglasses as I cant wait to share my purchases after this years show at olympia. you have been warned.

  1. I have a confession to make, also - I didn't like crochet AT ALL till I saw these adorable little flowers! Crochet always seems too chunky to me, but these are so cute and delicate. Nice work.
So maybe I will try to learn just so I can make embellishments for my knitting, which is my absolute favorite thing :)
Great blog; sorry I got confused about the swap-bot!

  2. Those are so cute! I definitely agree with you - although I do find some crochet a little tacky, you've obviously mastered the art! Thanks so much for sharing!

    Always,

  3. I am loving these bright colors!! I'd love something fun made out of those...or even just as embellishments on a jacket! I wish I knew how.
