Free Pill Purse

The pill purse is a quick and easy way to organise that ever expanding handbag.It a great way to have those necessary tablets hidden .I have to take quite alot of tablets for the rest of my life,wherever I go I have to have these with me. Fed up with searching for my pills in the bottom whatever handbag I was using I decided I'd make a pill purse . I now never leave home without it. Use any yarn you like any hook size you like. The stitches should be tight to create a sturdy purse. It's a great way to use some of that leftover yarn ,we all seem to have.

This is scarcely a pattern .It really is simple.

Chain two and a half times the width of the largest pill packet you have. I chained 26. Then its just a case of double crochet as many rows to cover the length of the largest pill packet, plus one extra row. You need that extra one for sewing.

I'm not sure how to explain the folding bit, fold the holder to the width of 2 times the packet.(See the picture )Sew both short ends up .When the pills are inside the flap should envelope them .The flap prevents the tablets from falling out.

Add any decoration you like I have simply crocheted a flower added a few sequins and glued it to a brooch back. You can use broochs, pins , buttons,anything you like.
