I made this shawl with the delightful Regia yarn, I believe its the range that Kaffe Fassett designed, now he's a man that knows how to match colours .I know its wool and generally I prefer to work with lighter fibers but it feels so soft and crochets so smoothly. The little rosette is not only a decoration it can be used to fasten the ends together. It can be worn as a neckerchief, standard shawl or just thrown casually over your shoulders, perfect for those really chilly evenings.

Kaffe Fassett has a way with colors producing such amazing combinations. I have knitted two pairs of sock with his Regia range and have another waiting. I like your choice for the shawl and the detail of the multi-purpose rosette.
