Brooch

Brooch

I made this a while back. I purchased lots of Debbie Bliss 'soho' yarn last year in the sale and it has remained in the cupboard marked 'mistake'.

I 've really struggled finding a good pattern that works with this yarn. As I'm sure I've mentioned before this yarn is not one of my favourites, granted ,it is soft and yes,it does look splendid in a ball .The problem is once you start making things with it the colours pool in a way that I find not so pleasant to the eye.

However, I m in love with brooches.Ive been collecting for years, the shops seem to be filled at the moment with woollen type brooches, some of which really aren't worth the cost. So, flowery brooches are being knocked out at a very impressive rate and not even 8 balls of yarn close to the price of one shop bought number.I love being thrifty.

  1. Wow that looks super soft :D I like the colors... I can imagine the problem with how the colors pool. I still have some yarn lying around because of that. but that, looks perfect for a summery lacy scarf.
