Im making a cardigan from the fab debbie stollers sitch and bitch crochet book ,I'm always amazed at how intially something can appear so daunting,but the moment you start the item its becomes pretty clear is quite easy
.I have been reading patterns but have recently been shown how to read all the symbols .I'm hooked no pun intended. The symbols are so much easier to follow that now I have quite a few international books all written in a different language , what is so wonderful is that it also has the symbols of crochet which are inernationally recognised. No matter where you are in the world crochet symbols are the same. Pretty cool eh???
