whats cooking

I marinated chicken pieces on the bone overnight in garlic and basil, rosemary infused olive oil homemade, with some large spanish green olives, wedges of red onion peeled but with the root still attached cut into eighths.Add 175ml of white wine. Bake until golden brown and cooked. The meat should be juicy and tender and the winey juices should be moped up with good bread. Some lovely broccoli florets tender is all that we had with it .Delicious.

Yesterday dinner was cooked by my 12 year old she made steak marinated in oregano, lemon ring ,cumin, garlic it was chargrilled served with a roasted tomato salad flavoured with coriander, red onion, lemon ,salt pepper, with it she made roasted new potato flavoured with olive oil and garlic,stir fried mushrooms finished of a fantastic meal, did i mention she is 12 all done by her own fair hands. She is soooo good at cooking i never fear going hungry with her around.
