Yarn

I have been playing with seed beads and jewellery wire. I threaded a lot of beads in to the wire. The usual chain stitch then treble in every chain. I moved the bead up to the hook and crochet
around the bead. It isn't complicated and once you get the hand of it , it works up very quickly The colour of the beads matches the zauberball perfectly, however I want to make something for his highness.

A couple of lace weight mohairs. Im not looking forward to winding this into a ball.

Vinni's colour from here beautiful to work with, however, not sure what I will make with them. The yarn will find a pattern that suits it. I actually believe that yarn has magic powers once it sees a pattern it knows that it is the one. Think I'm mad do you? Doesnt your yarn talk to you, it makes you stroke, fondle, squish. it makes you spend outrageous amount. only for it to remain in a cupboard., Dont you wake up and just have to find that ball of yarn ,see it does have magic powers.

Furry,fussy yarn

I have to admit that I hate fussy, fuzzy yarn, but I have to admit years ago at ally pally I did buy a couple balls . I didn't like it them but as you all know,we yarn lovers don't have to have a reason to buy the stuff you never know when you'll need it. I 'm happy to admit that I'm no longer that kind of yarn lover, but you never know, I hated acrylic and what did I buy the other day ,say know more
Well anyway I found the perfect way to use the stuff. A simple envelope styled cushion all made in treble, essentially two rows of treble with one yarn then a further two rows with the fuzzy yarn included .Continue until the material is two and half times the size of the cushion .It should be a large rectangle folded and closed with three very pretty buttons.
I'm really pleased it looks very effective ,just the right accent of fussiness prevents the cushion looking garish. I love using one stitch throughout a project, simple quick and easy projects that take less time then if I had knitted it.
