I had the tissue paper and these wonderful spools of coloured wire ready in my craft stash
Isn't it wonderful , at present it is just one bloom but come the end of the night I'm sure I will have plenty more. They remind me of hydrangeas, which happens to be my favourite flower. They are so quick and simple to make ,incidentally, if you enjoy making these you will love the pompoms she makes on the show. I bought my pom pom makers from here. I warn you ,once you start you wont stop , in fact I nearly put pompoms on hubby's socks.
Oh I've been wanting to have a go at these tissue flowers for ages, yours is so pretty! Thank you so much for visiting my blog. Sarah xo
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately I have missed the series, shucks!! Love the flower and it look fabulous on that very gorgeous lamp. xoxo
ReplyDeleteI watched Kirstie too! I really need to get one of those pom pom makers..I think I will by the same though, wanting to add them to everything. Love the tissue paper flower, it is stunning.

That's really pretty. I want to try the pom-pom makers too. I remember making some with cardboard rings when I was a kid and they came out cute.
ReplyDeleteHa ha! I hear that the pom pom making is an addiction. I am tempted, but worried that once I start!!!! It is bad enough with all the other things I get myself into. Your flower looks beautiful though, especially on your lamp. Happy Christmas. xx
ReplyDeleteI am sorry to have missed this program, I thought it was a repeat but I believe now it isn't.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely christmas!
I enjoyed that programme too, I do like Kirstie and her gung-ho crafting. There were some nice ideas. Your pompom is great. x
